Ricoh Imaging Americas Corporation has introduced the PENTAX WG-90 rugged digital camera, which will be available in early February. And yes, in a world full of smartphones, standalone cameras still exist! The camera's rugged design ensures it's waterproof up to 46 feet (14 meters), shock-resistant from drops up to five feet (1.6 meters), and frost-resistant down to 14°F (-10°C). The PENTAX WG-90 is equipped with a high-quality 5x optical zoom lens that covers a focal length range of 5mm to 25mm (approximately 28mm to 140mm in 35mm format). The Fax Lists 16-megapixel CMOS sensor of the camera, paired with a high-performance image engine, pushes the boundaries with a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400 and promises high-quality images. Designed to excel in extreme conditions where conventional compact cameras and smartphones falter, the WG-90 offers unmatched reliability and functionality. An outdoor-friendly monitor quickly adjusts to light conditions and improves image viewing. A standout feature is the built-in ring light, which supports PENTAX's unique digital microscope mode, allowing users to capture detailed images of the microscopic world that are invisible to the naked eye. The PENTAX WG-90, available in blue or black options, will be released in early February 2024 with a retail price of $329.95. Interested buyers can pre-order from Amazon here now.The new graphics driver updates are very important and will be Intel's focus as the Core Ultra processors also have a similar architecture. With that said, I expect Intel Arc graphics to continue to mature steadily and it will be exciting to see what Intel's graphics division achieves by 2024.
